Larger Oil Filter - 2004 Mazda RX8
Just changed the oil again, and after browsing new oil filters at the local parts store, there is a larger option for the RX8.
The stock Mobil 1 size for the oil filter is the M1-108. After some comparison, the M1-110 is just a larger version, which will offer more filtering surface. This is a popular modification on a lot of other cars, especially turbo cars, but your mileage and results might vary. I'm just presenting another oil filter option for all of you RX8 owners.
